Position: Senior Software Engineer- COBOL Expert for Client Support Role (3-5 Years) Experience: 3-6 years Category: Software Development/ Engineering Shift Timing: Rotational Shift Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full Time Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Position Description: Mainframe Developer having MF COBOL experience Your future duties and responsibilitieS As a Senior Developer, the task will include •Techno-functional analysis of client reported tickets • Direct interaction with clients to understand their requirement and troubleshoot issues. • Working in rotational shifts (including US business hours) to support clients • Debugging of issues/defects to identify o Defects in code o Possible root cause o Possible fix for the defect o Possible data fixes/temp patches • Mentoring team members Must to have skills- - Cobol, JCL, VSAM, MF COBOL • Good verbal and written communication skills • Good Technical and analytical skills • Flexible attitude
