**Job Title : Cognos Analytics** **Technical/Functional Skills** :- - 6-8 years of Experience with Cognos Report development and maintaining reports. - Excellent understanding of SQL and data modeling principles. - Role involves analyzing business requirements. - Design, develop, and maintain Cognos BI reports and dashboards - Work with Framework Manager (FM) to build and manage data models - Develop: - List reports - Crosstab reports - Drill-through & master-detail reports - Create and maintain dynamic dashboards using Cognos Analytics - Optimize report performance and ensure efficient query execution - Perform data validation and testing - Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements - Support production issues and enhancements - Work on data integration from multiple sources (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) - Experience in administrative tasks. Creating and maintaining schedules, jobs, troubleshooting reports failure. - Cognos Author certification is an added advantage. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery model **Good to have skills** - Knowledge on Agile Methodology - Knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, Talend) - Exposure to Power BI / Tableau (multi-BI skill advantage) - Basic scripting (shell/Python) for automation - Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS) optional in newer projects **Experience Required** 6-8 years of experience in Cognos Analytics.
