Share your resume over **Aarushi.Shukla@Coforge.Com** **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled Cognos BI Developer with strong experience in **Cognos Analytics (Cognos 11)** and **SQL Server (T-SQL)**. The ideal candidate will specialize in **developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting tabular reports using Report Studio**, with a strong understanding of report bursting and performance debugging. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain **tabular reports using Cognos Report Studio** - Write and optimize **complex SQL queries (T-SQL)** against SQL Server databases - Implement and manage **report bursting techniques** (email, file system, distribution lists, etc.) - Analyze and **debug existing Cognos reports**, including breaking down report queries, layouts, and performance issues - Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in reports - Support report migration, enhancement, and optimization initiatives - Assist in **transitioning reports from Cognos to other BI platforms** (if applicable) **Required Skills & Qualifications** - **3+ years of hands-on experience with Cognos Analytics (Cognos 11)** - Strong experience with **Report Studio (focus on tabular reporting, not dashboards)** - Proficiency in **SQL Server and T-SQL** - Solid understanding of: - Query subjects and data modules - Report performance tuning - Prompting and filters - Experience with **report bursting techniques** - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex reports
