Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive. **The Role** Primary Responsibilities: Design and develop models using Cognos Framework Manager Build and maintain reports using Report Studio Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and report building Perform basic Cognos administration tasks including data source configuration, scheduling reports, and troubleshooting Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, demonstrating strong soft skills and professionalism Secondary Skills & Knowledge: Understand fact and dimensional table design principles Apply foundational knowledge of data warehousing and data frameworks Conduct data analysis to support reporting and decision-making Exposure to Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and dashboarding - Expertise in data mining, data storage and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes - Experience in data pipelines development and tooling, e.g., Glue, Databricks, Synapse, or Dataproc - Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail - Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues, to derive technical requirements from business needs and problems Preferred Skills and Experience - Experience working as a Data Engineer and/or in cloud modernization - Experience in Data Modelling, to create conceptual model of how data is connected and how it will be used in business processes - Professional certification, e.g., Open Certified Technical Specialist with Data Engineering Specialization - Cloud platform certification, e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, Elastic Certified Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate - Understanding of social coding and Integrated Development Environments, e.g., GitHub and Visual Studio - Degree in a scientific discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology Your future at Kyndryl Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career, from Junior System Administrator to Architect. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others. ### **Position Overview** We are seeking a skilled **IBM Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1) Administrator with strong development expertise** to manage, optimize, and enhance our enterprise planning environment. The ideal candidate will combine **administration proficiency** with **hands-on development skills** , ensuring system stability while delivering scalable planning and forecasting solutions. **Required Technical and Professional Expertise** : Overall 12+ Years of experience into IT. - **Administration** - Manage TM1 servers, environments, and user security. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. - Oversee upgrades, patches, and environment migrations (on-premise/cloud). - Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. - Ensure compliance with IT governance and audit requirements. - **Development** - Design and build **TM1 cubes, dimensions, rules, and feeders** . - Develop and optimize **TurboIntegrator (TI) processes** for automation and data integration. - Create and maintain **Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)** dashboards and **Planning Analytics for Excel (PAx)** reports. - Collaborate with finance and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Optimize cube performance, feeders, and rule calculations. - **Support & Documentation** - Provide end-user support and training for TM1 applications. - Document technical specifications, workflows, and best practices. - Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, BI) to ensure seamless integration. ### **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Strong experience in **IBM Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1)** administration and development. - Proficiency in **TurboIntegrator scripting, cube design, rules, and feeders** . - Solid understanding of **financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes** . - Strong SQL knowledge and experience integrating TM1 with relational databases. - Familiarity with **PAW, PAx, and TM1 Web** . - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
