# **Collections Manager – Secured Write Off - Direct** **Reporting To:** State Collection Manager – Secured Write Off - Direct **Location:** Banswara, Rajasthan ## **Position Overview** The Collections Manager - Secured Write Off - Direct will be responsible for driving recovery performance for assigned NPA portfolios and ensuring achievement of budgeted recovery targets. The role requires managing field collection operations, optimizing team productivity, and implementing effective collection strategies to maximize recoveries while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will lead and mentor a team of collectors, ensuring optimum deployment, productivity, and performance across allocated geographies. Responsibilities include managing allocation activities, ensuring proper account distribution based on ACR and location, minimizing attrition through timely recruitment and onboarding of field staff, and maintaining high levels of engagement and accountability within the team. The role involves driving settlement initiatives while minimizing principal outstanding (POS) waivers, tracking repayments, and ensuring timely closure of accounts. The Collections Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic recovery approaches, including asset tracing, identification of focused recovery pools, account-level feedback analysis, and regular tracking of collection efforts to improve outcomes. A key aspect of the role is managing repossession activities through internal teams and empanelled repossession agencies. This includes overseeing seizure and legal entry updates in the collection system, ensuring compliance with prescribed processes, and coordinating with legal and law enforcement authorities to facilitate recoveries and repossessions. The role also involves appointment and renewal of repossession agencies and driving their productivity while maintaining high standards of integrity and governance. The Collections Manager will ensure adherence to the complete collection lifecycle, including collection, receipting, repossession, and surrender processes. The individual will be expected to ensure daily field activation of collectors, optimum visit productivity, accurate feedback updates in collection systems, and timely recording of money receipts. Ensuring complete account coverage, timely system updates, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures will be critical to success in this role. The position requires regular review of delinquent and chronic cases, joint customer visits with collectors, guidance and coaching of field teams, and engagement with walk-in customers to address collection-related concerns and negotiate settlements. The role also includes monitoring negative areas, ensuring timely remittance of collected funds, maintaining accurate customer records, overseeing trail updates, and conducting periodic audits and reconciliations of collections and receipts. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring all collections are deposited within prescribed timelines without deviations, maintaining robust documentation of recovery efforts, and providing regular updates on delinquency trends and account-level feedback. The role also emphasizes continuous learning and development for both self and team members, fostering a culture of performance, compliance, and professional growth. All responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with the company's values, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct. ## **Eligibility Criteria** **Experience:** Candidates with **4+ years of relevant experience** in collections, preferably within the **NBFC or Banking industry**, will be preferred. **Education:** Minimum **Graduate** in any discipline. ## **Skills & Competencies** The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the financial services industry along with the ability to interpret and analyze financial statements effectively. The role requires excellent relationship management capabilities with the maturity and interpersonal skills needed to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners. Candidates should demonstrate strong stakeholder management abilities, sound business judgment, and the capability to influence outcomes through collaboration and negotiation.
