With a widespread network of agents and branches across India and overseas, LIC provides strong support and training to its sales associates and offers significant opportunities for professional growth. **Role Description** This part-time Commission Sales Associate role is based in Lucknow with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some responsibilities to be performed from home. The Commission Sales Associate will identify prospective customers, explain LIC’s range of insurance and financial protection products, and recommend suitable plans based on individual needs and risk profiles. Daily activities include meeting clients in person and online, conducting needs assessments, preparing proposals and quotations, and supporting customers through the policy application and onboarding process. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with policyholders, providing service support, and encouraging renewals and cross-selling where appropriate. Associates are expected to follow LIC’s compliance guidelines, participate in training programs, and meet agreed sales and service targets, with earnings primarily based on commission. **Qualifications** - Strong sales and customer service skills, including the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and close sales ethically. - Basic financial literacy and interest in insurance, savings, and retirement planning, with the ability to explain products in simple terms. - Good interpersonal and networking abilities to engage with individuals, families, and community groups in and around Lucknow. - Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and client meetings in a part-time hybrid environment. - Comfort with using phones, email, and messaging apps for client communication; familiarity with digital tools for maintaining records is an advantage. - Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education in commerce, business, or related fields is beneficial. - Willingness to complete mandatory licensing, training, and certification requirements as prescribed by LIC and regulatory authorities. - Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently while adhering to professional and ethical standards.
