**Job Title:** Commvault Administrator / Engineer with Azure DevOps **Experience:** 8 - 12 Years **Location:** Bangalore / Chennai / Pune **Job Description** We are looking for an experienced **Commvault Administrator/Engineer** with strong expertise in **Azure DevOps, Backup & Recovery, and Cloud Infrastructure Management**. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise backup solutions using Commvault while leveraging Azure DevOps for automation, deployment, and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** - Administer, configure, and support **Commvault Backup & Recovery** environments. - Manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies across on-premises and cloud platforms. - Design and maintain backup policies, schedules, retention policies, and storage management. - Implement and manage **Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines** for automation and operational processes. - Automate backup monitoring, reporting, and deployment activities using PowerShell, Shell, or Python scripting. - Troubleshoot backup failures, performance issues, and recovery scenarios. - Integrate Commvault with Azure cloud services and hybrid infrastructure. - Perform upgrades, patch management, capacity planning, and health checks. - Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure data protection compliance and availability. - Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and disaster recovery procedures. **Required Skills** - 8-12 years of IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in **Commvault Administration**. - Experience in **Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Data Protection, and Storage Management**. - Strong experience with **Azure DevOps**, CI/CD pipelines, Git Repositories, and Release Management. - Knowledge of **Microsoft Azure** services and cloud backup solutions. - Experience in scripting using **PowerShell, Python, or Shell**. - Understanding of Windows and Linux server administration. - Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. **Good to Have** - Commvault certifications. - Experience with Azure Automation, ARM Templates, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native backup solutions. - ITIL and incident/problem management experience. **Education** - BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification.
