**Role & responsibilities** : **1. Statutory Compliance Management** Ensure compliance with Indian Labour Codes and applicable state-specific labour laws, rules, and notifications. Manage end-to-end statutory compliance including registers, records, and filings. Monitor and ensure timely submission of statutory returns to labour authorities. Display of Statutory Notices and Abstract. **2. Payroll & Wage Compliance** Ensure adherence to minimum wages, overtime regulations, and bonus payments. Ensure compliance with gratuity and maternity benefit provisions. **3.Statutory Contributions & Remittances** Handle compliance and timely remittance related to: Provident Fund (PF) Employee State Insurance (ESI) Professional Tax (PT) Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) **4.Maintain accuracy in all statutory deductions and filings.** Audit & Inspection Readiness Prepare and maintain documentation for internal and external audits. Support inspections by labour authorities and ensure closure of observations. Track compliance gaps and implement corrective actions. **5.Regulatory Awareness & Risk Management** Stay updated on changes in labour laws, codes, amendments, and notifications. Understand penalties, inspection procedures, and compliance risks. Proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks. **6.Systems & Reporting** Utilize HR compliance tools and statutory filing portals for filings and tracking. Prepare compliance dashboards and reports for management review. Maintain organized digital and physical compliance records.
