We are currently seeking a Configuration Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN). "ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for an Associate SCCM/Intune Engineer to join NTT DATA's India EPM Delivery Centre. This role involves independently executing endpoint management tasks — software deployments, patch operations, device compliance, and Intune MDM management — for NTT DATA's global enterprise clients. The engineer will handle L1/L2 incidents, contribute to operational improvements, and develop depth across SCCM and Intune platforms within NTT DATA's managed services delivery model. The role operates within IST-based shift windows supporting international clients. Key Responsibilities Software Deployment & Application Management • Create and manage SCCM applications, packages, and deployment types for enterprise software distribution across global client endpoints. • Configure and deploy Win32 apps, MSI packages, and Microsoft Store apps via Microsoft Intune. • Manage deployment collections, targeting logic, and deployment scheduling in SCCM. • Monitor deployment success rates and troubleshoot software installation failures at L1/L2 level. • Assist with .intunewin packaging using the Microsoft Win32 Content Prep Tool. • Support application lifecycle activities including supersedence, retirement, and version updates. Patch Management • Execute patch deployment operations including software update group creation, ADR configuration, and phased rollouts. • Monitor Software Update Point (SUP) synchronization, WSUS catalog management, and patch compliance dashboards. • Manage maintenance windows and patch deployment rings aligned with client change management processes. • Troubleshoot patch installation failures and document root cause analysis for recurring issues. • Support Intune Windows Update for Business (WUfB) policy configuration and deferral ring management. Device Management & Compliance • Manage device enrollment, compliance policies, and conditional access configurations in Microsoft Intune. • Create and maintain configuration profiles for Windows endpoints including security baselines and settings catalog policies. • Monitor device compliance dashboards and assist with remediation of non-compliant endpoints. • Support Azure AD join, Hybrid Azure AD join, and co-management configuration activities. Incident & Operations Management • Handle L1/L2 endpoint incidents and service requests within defined SLA timeframes for global client accounts. • Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents and contribute to problem management activities. • Escalate L3 issues to senior engineers with detailed troubleshooting documentation. • Maintain and update operational runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. • Participate in handover/takeover procedures during shift transitions for 24x7 delivery support. Required Skills • Microsoft SCCM/ConfigMgr — application deployment, collections, patch management, and console operations • Microsoft Intune — device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app deployment • Windows 10/11 endpoint configuration, troubleshooting, and management • Azure Active Directory — device join types, user/group management, and conditional access basics • PowerShell scripting for basic endpoint automation and reporting tasks • ITSM tools — ServiceNow or equivalent for incident, change, and problem management • Understanding of Windows Update, WSUS, and Software Update Point operations • Good English communication skills for client-facing ticket updates and documentation Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102) • Experience with co-management scenarios and workload transition in SCCM/Intune • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Analytics and Intune reporting • Prior experience in managed services or IT outsourcing delivery environment MINIMUM EDUCATION Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc. Computer Science or IT) or MCA from a recognised Indian university. Equivalent professional certifications and experience will be considered."
