**Description**: Planning Manager (Construction) - PEB & Manufacturing Facility Projects Position Title **Planning Manager - Construction (PEB / Manufacturing Factory Projects)** **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Planning Manager** to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for large-scale **Pre-Engineered Building (PEB), industrial, warehousing, and manufacturing factory construction projects**. The role will be responsible for developing project execution schedules, tracking progress, identifying risks, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality parameters. **Key Responsibilities** Project Planning & Scheduling - Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. - Prepare project baselines, work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, and resource-loaded schedules. - Create construction sequencing plans for civil, structural steel, PEB erection, MEP, equipment installation, and commissioning activities. - Establish project control procedures and planning standards. Monitoring & Control - Track project progress against approved baselines. - Conduct weekly and monthly progress reviews with project teams. - Identify schedule slippages and recommend corrective actions. - Perform critical path analysis and prepare recovery plans when required. - Monitor productivity, resource utilization, and earned value metrics. Stakeholder Coordination - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, contractors, consultants, and client teams. - Support procurement planning and long-lead item tracking. - Ensure alignment between design, procurement, and construction schedules. - Present project status reports to senior management and clients. Risk Management - Identify project risks and delays proactively. - Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. - Monitor dependency and interface management across multiple disciplines. Reporting - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports. - Generate S-curves, dashboards, variance reports, and look-ahead schedules. - Report project KPIs related to schedule, cost, manpower, and productivity. Claims & Change Management - Support delay analysis and extension of time (EOT) claims. - Maintain records of deviations, scope changes, and schedule impacts. - Assist commercial and project teams in claim substantiation. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering. - PMP certification preferred. - Primavera P6 certification preferred. - MBA/PG Diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage. **Experience** - **8-15+ years** of construction project planning experience. - Minimum **5 years in industrial, manufacturing, factory, warehouse, or PEB projects**. - Experience handling projects from concept to commissioning. - Exposure to EPC or Design-Build projects preferred.
