Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence \& visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning. **Your work profile** * We are seeking a detail-oriented **ETL Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Lead** with strong experience in **SAP data integration and validation**. * The candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting end-to-end testing of ETL processes involving SAP systems. * The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ETL tools, SAP data structures, and strong SQL skills. * Design, develop, and execute **test cases, test plans, and test scenarios** for ETL processes. * Validate **data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)** workflows from SAP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW). * Perform **data validation and reconciliation** between source systems, staging areas, and target data warehouses. * Write and execute **complex SQL queries** to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity. * Analyze **source-to-target mapping documents** and ensure business rules are correctly implemented. * Conduct **functional, system, regression, integration, and UAT support testing**. * Identify, log, track, and report **defects in test management tools** (e.g., JIRA, QC/ALM). * Collaborate with **ETL developers, SAP functional teams, and business stakeholders**. * Ensure **data quality standards** and compliance with testing best practices. * Participate in **test automation initiatives** for ETL testing (if applicable). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Attention to detail and data accuracy focus * Good communication and stakeholder management skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment **Key skills required** Strong experience in **ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing**. * **4--6 years** of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing. * Minimum **2 years working with SAP data or SAP-integrated systems**. * Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as: * Informatica / Talend / DataStage / SSIS / Azure Data Factory (any) * Strong knowledge of **SQL** and database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.). * Experience working with **SAP systems**: * SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA / SAP BW / SAP HANA * Understanding of **SAP data structures and tables** (e.g., MARA, BKPF, BSEG, etc.). * Experience validating data from SAP extractors, IDocs, or OData services. * Knowledge of **data warehousing concepts**: Star Schema, Fact \& Dimension tables. **Testing Skills** * Proficiency in **manual testing methodologies** and SDLC/STLC. * Experience in **test management and defect tracking tools** (JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, etc.). * Experience in **data reconciliation and backend testing**. **Nice-to-Have Skills** * Knowledge of **ETL automation tools** or scripting (Python, Shell, etc.). * Experience with **BI tools** (Power BI, Tableau, BO) for data validation. * Familiarity with **Agile/Scrum methodology**. * Knowledge of **cloud platforms** (Azure/AWS/GCP). **Education** * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
