Because becoming the undisputed leader in food means surrounding ourselves with people who are hungry for what’s next. **Overview** The Consultant – Materials Management (PET) will serve as an individual contributor with strong planning, analytical, systems, and stakeholder-management capabilities. The role will provide scalable solutions and holistic strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inbound materials management for aligned PET plants. The incumbent will collaborate with PET plants, Raw Material Planners, business stakeholders, Digital & Technology teams, Inventory Analytics, and other cross-functional partners. They will build repeatable processes, sustainable tools, and governance mechanisms while operating effectively in a complex virtual environment. This role requires you to operate in 1.30 pm to 10.30 pm. **Key Accountabilities** **PET Plant Performance Governance with Institutional fixes** - Own and facilitate the recurring plant performance call to establish a clear agenda and operating rhythm covering service, inventory, material availability, compliance, cost, and planning-health metrics. - Ensure key performance metrics remain green through proactive monitoring, action tracking, escalation, and timely closure. - Highlight emerging risks, dependencies, and decisions required from plant and business stakeholders. - Maintain clear action logs with accountable owners, target dates, status, and documented outcomes. - Provide concise, data-backed performance updates to relevant leadership and stakeholder groups. - Design and implement sustainable solutions through process standardization, automation, controls, training, documentation, and governance - Build sustainability and order winning solutions for the problems. - Collaborate with various teams to implement defined solutions. **Process Excellence, Analytics, and Reporting** - Develop and execute holistic & scalable solutions around Inbound Supply Chain Process, Analytics, Reporting, Business problems etc. - Manage various incoming projects through formal project management approach. - Identifying Risk & Mitigation plan for Inbound Logistics and communication to key stakeholders. - Identify opportunities and build strategy around the same for Inbound Logistics to drive effectiveness in process. - Track and publish the impact of various initiatives/ solutions identified or driven by Inbound Logistics team. - Execute Communication & Escalations platforms seamlessly. - End to End knowledge & visibility **HMM and Cost-Improvement Leadership** - Identify, evaluate, and lead HMM opportunities across inbound materials management for PET plants. - Develop fact-based business cases that quantify savings, operational impact, implementation effort, risks, and dependencies understanding the ambiguity of PET business - Partner with plants, planners, sourcing, suppliers, logistics, finance, and other stakeholders to validate and implement opportunities. - Lead ideation and implementation activities supporting plant and site goals. - Track HMM initiatives through completion and establish appropriate benefit-validation mechanisms. - Ensure cost improvements are sustainable and do not adversely affect service, quality, inventory, compliance, or operational continuity. - Build a healthy pipeline of improvement opportunities and communicate progress, risks, and realized benefits **Systems, Tools, and Automation Support** - Identify opportunities to improve materials-management processes through automation, standardization, Lean approaches and stronger system utilization. - Collaborate with Digital & Technology, Inventory Analytics, and system-support teams on tool development and system enhancements for PET IO - Test automation solutions and system changes to verify accuracy, stability and minimal business disruption. - Coordinate troubleshooting, data stewardship and governance across SAP and connected planning systems for PET capabilities - Develop sustainable tools that strengthen capability, controls, and decision-making. **Stakeholder Management and Capability Deployment** - Build strong collaborative relationships with PET plants, Raw Material Planners, business teams, sourcing, logistics, finance, Digital & Technology, Inventory Analytics, and other partners. - Execute communication and escalation mechanisms effectively, ensuring risks and decisions are communicated promptly. - Influence stakeholders through data, functional expertise, and clear recommendations. - Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and support functional training for team members and stakeholders. - Develop clear process documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, and governance guidance. - Share best practices and lessons learned with subject-matter experts and broader materials-management teams. - Support the Manager and senior team members in developing new capabilities and improving organizational effectiveness. **Minimum Qualifications** - Education: Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered) - Bachelor’s or master’s Degree - Not Mandatory but good to have - CSCMP, APICS, SIX SIGMA or equiv. Project Management **Preferred Qualifications** - 5–8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, materials management, inventory planning, inbound logistics, or planning systems. - Strong understanding of raw material planning, inventory management, lot sizing, safety stock / days of supply concepts, and MRP planning. - Hands-on knowledge of planning syst
