This is a Job Opportunity with Aranca, where you will be working for one of our group companies Location: Mumbai The role We are looking for a customer-facing Salesforce professional to work closely with the VP of Sales, combining consultative sales, customer success and practical Salesforce expertise. The successful candidate will be able to understand a customers Salesforce environment and business challenges quickly, ask effective discovery questions, identify the most relevant capabilities and explain their commercial value. Following a sale, they will help customers adopt the solution, achieve measurable outcomes and identify opportunities for further value. Key responsibilities • Conduct discovery conversations with Salesforce administrators, architects, project leaders and business stakeholders. • Rapidly understand a customers Salesforce environment, business processes, current challenges and priorities. • Translate Salesforce-related problems into relevant use cases and measurable business value. • Support tailored demonstrations, proposals, customer presentations and commercial follow-up. • Work with the VP of Sales, the US and UK sales team, and external pre-sales resources to progress meetings into qualified opportunities and closed sales. • Maintain clear qualification, next steps and opportunity information in the CRM. • Coordinate effective customer handovers and onboarding following a sale. • Help customers adopt our solutions and achieve value from the platform. • Monitor customer engagement, satisfaction, retention risks and expansion opportunities. • Provide practical Salesforce advice and contribute directly to customer work where appropriate. • Bring structured customer feedback and recurring market insights to sales, product and leadership. These responsibilities support the wider sales process owned by the VP of Sales, including discovery, qualification, opportunity progression, customer handover and collaboration with product and customer success. Experience and capabilities • At least five years of practical experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, gained in a delivery-oriented role such as Salesforce administrator, consultant, business analyst, platform manager or project lead. • Strong understanding of how Salesforce orgs are configured, managed and changed, including data models, automation, permissions, reporting, testing, releases and documentation. • First-hand understanding of the challenges and pain points faced by Salesforce administrators and platform teams, including governance, data quality, technical debt, change management and maintaining reliable documentation. • Experience working directly with customers and business stakeholders to understand problems, clarify requirements, recommend practical solutions and support implementation and adoption • Proven ability to translate technical and operational Salesforce issues into business impact, measurable outcomes and commercial value. • Excellent written and spoken English, with experience supporting US or European customers. • Needs to be a self-starter, comfortable absorbing information quickly with an eye for detail. Candidates should have enough practical Salesforce knowledge to undertake appropriate configuration, analysis, documentation, testing and customer-support activities, while recognizing when specialist development or architecture expertise is required.
