Must Have Skill : Microsoft Azure Cloud, IAC, Platform Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI, Security & Identity Skill – Domain : Cloud & AI Platform Architecture Position Description: CGI APAC is seeking an experienced and visionary Azure Cloud and AI Platform Architect to lead the architecture, governance, and implementation of enterprise-scale Azure Cloud, Generative AI, and Agentic AI platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, cloud-native architectures, enterprise security, and AI governance frameworks. This role requires a strategic technology leader capable of designing scalable, secure, and compliant AI-enabled cloud platforms that accelerate digital transformation while aligning with CGI’s Technical Governance Framework and Microsoft's AI reference architecture. The Architect will collaborate with business leaders, enterprise architects, engineering teams, security teams, and client stakeholders to establish cloud and AI platforms that support intelligent applications, copilots, AI agents, analytics, automation, and emerging AI workloads. Key Responsibilities Cloud & AI Platform Architecture • Design and architect enterprise-scale Azure Cloud and AI platforms. • Define cloud-native reference architectures for AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. • Develop scalable multi-region and multi-tenant platform architectures leveraging Azure services. • Establish enterprise architecture standards, reusable patterns, and governance frameworks for AI-enabled solutions. • Lead platform modernization initiatives and cloud adoption programs. AI & Agentic Architecture • Deploy Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Copilot-based solutions on Azure. • Architect AI agent ecosystems using: o Azure AI Foundry o Azure OpenAI Service o Microsoft Copilot Studio o AutoGen o Semantic Kernel o Agent-to-Agent (A2A) architectures o Model Context Protocol (MCP) • Knowledge on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms and knowledge retrieval architectures. • Establish AI orchestration patterns, guardrails, prompt management, and model lifecycle governance. Cloud Governance & Security • Define cloud governance models aligned with: o Azure Landing Zones o Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) o Well-Architected Framework (WAF) o Responsible AI Principles • Establish policies for: o Identity and Access Management o Least-Privilege Access o Conditional Access o Data Protection o Regulatory Compliance • Ensure compliance with: o GDPR o EU AI Act o ISO 27001 o SOC2 o Client-specific regulatory requirements Platform Engineering & Operations • Platform capabilities for AI and cloud workloads. • Define observability, monitoring, and operational excellence frameworks. • Design resilient, highly available, and secure platform environments. • Establish DevSecOps, MLOps, and AIOps practices. • Provide architectural leadership for platform reliability, scalability, and cost optimization. Stakeholder & Leadership Responsibilities • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable technology solutions. • Provide architecture governance and technical leadership across programs. • Lead architecture reviews and design authority forums. • Mentor engineering teams on cloud, AI, security, and governance best practices. • Drive innovation and technology strategy across CGI APAC CoE initiatives.
