**Role: Core Java Developer** **Experience: 4 to 8 years** **Drive Location: Pokharan Road Number 2, TCS Approach Rd, Thane West, Thane, Maharashtra 400601** **Mode of Interview: Walk in Drive** **Mode of Interview: 22nd August,2026** **Reporting Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm** **Key Responsibilities :** - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java-based applications - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best coding practices - Analyze user requirements and convert them into functional specifications - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product, UI) - Participate in architecture discussions and system design - Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of applications - Maintain and improve existing systems by identifying bugs and enhancements **Required Skills & Qualifications** **Technical Skills:** - Strong proficiency in **Core Java (Java 8 and above)** - Excellent understanding of: -> OOP concepts (Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction) -> Data Structures & Algorithms -> Multithreading and Concurrency -> Collections Framework -> Exception Handling - Experience with **Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred)** - Hands-on with **RESTful APIs and microservices architecture** - Knowledge of **SQL/NoSQL databases** (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) - Familiarity with **Hibernate/JPA** - Experience with **build tools** like Maven/Gradle - Strong debugging and performance tuning skills **Preferred Skills (Good to Have):** - Experience with **cloud platforms** (AWS/Azure/GCP) - Knowledge of **Docker, Kubernetes** - Exposure to **CI/CD pipelines** (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) - Familiar with **design patterns** and system design principles - Experience in **event-driven architecture / messaging systems** (Kafka, RabbitMQ) - Knowledge of **frontend basics** (HTML, JS, Angular/React) is a plus
