Core Products: We design, manufacture, and distribute globally inspired, connected, and technologically advanced vehicles tailored to the Indian and international markets. **Position Overview** **Location:**  Kia India Pvt., Ltd., Penukonda Mandal, Sri Sathyasai District, Formally (Anantapur District), Andhra Pradesh **Qualification:** PG in any relevant discipline such as MBA/PGDM, Public Administration, Public Policy, Law, Economics, Commerce, Social Sciences, or related fields. **Designation:** Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager – Team Member **Reporting To:** Head of Section [Corporate Affairs] **Function:** Corporate Affairs **Required Mandatory Skill Set:** **Experience: 5–10 years** of **relevant experience** in Government Relations, Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs, or Liaison functions, preferably in the **Automotive / Manufacturing / Industrial sector**. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Government Relations & Stakeholder Management - Maintain effective liaison with District Administration, State/Local Government Authorities, IALA and regulatory agencies. - Build and maintain professional relationships with key Government officials and stakeholders. - Monitor Government postings, transfers and changes in key officials relevant to the business. - Act as the key coordination point for Government-related matters affecting the plant. 2. Approvals, Permissions & Regulatory Compliance - Coordinate with Government Departments for approvals, licenses, permissions, NOCs, renewals and statutory clearances. - Track approval status, timelines, renewals and pending Government requirements. - Coordinate with internal functions to ensure timely submission of required documents. - Follow up on Government queries, observations and pending approvals until closure. 3. Plant Operations & Government Support - Support uninterrupted plant operations by resolving Government-related issues concerning production, logistics, utilities, roads, infrastructure, traffic and public services. - Coordinate with District Administration and local authorities during critical operational issues and emergencies. - Maintain an action tracker for critical Government-related operational matters and ensure timely closure. 4. Government Communication & Representation - Draft official letters, representations, applications, briefing notes, presentations and Government correspondence. - Represent the organization in Government meetings, inspections, hearings and coordination activities as required. - Prepare meeting minutes, action points and ensure appropriate follow-up. 5. Policy & Regulatory Monitoring - Monitor Government policies, notifications, Acts, Rules and regulatory amendments relevant to the automotive and manufacturing sectors. - Track developments related to industrial development, labour laws, infrastructure and other business-critical regulations. - Assess the potential impact of policy/regulatory changes and provide timely updates and recommendations to management. 6. Incentive Compliance - Monitor Government incentive schemes and related eligibility and compliance requirements. - Coordinate with Finance, HR, Projects, Legal and other functions for timely submission of claims and compliance documents. - Track incentive milestones, Government queries, approvals and realization of benefits. 7. Reporting & Documentation - Maintain records of Government correspondence, approvals, inspections, meetings and statutory submissions. - Maintain updated Government stakeholder/contact database. - Prepare periodic reports on pending Government matters, regulatory developments, incentive compliance and key Government initiatives. - Develop brief analytical reports on industrial infrastructure, regional developments and regulatory trends. 8. Management Support - Provide early alerts on Government/regulatory developments that may impact plant operations or business. - Support management in Government engagement, policy representations and resolution of critical Government matters. - Maintain a proactive approach to identifying Government-related risks, opportunities and required actions. **Key Skills & Competencies** - Government Relations & Stakeholder Management - Government Liaison & Regulatory Compliance - Policy & Regulatory Monitoring - Government Approvals & Incentive Management - Strong Communication & Official Drafting Skills - Negotiation & Problem-Solving - Plant Operations & Business Support - Analytical & Reporting Skills - Strong Follow-up & Execution - Integrity, Professionalism & Ethical Conduct **Preferred Qualifications** - PG  in any relevant discipline such as MBA/PGDM, Public Administration, Public Policy, Law, Economics, Commerce, Social Sciences, or related fields. - MBA/PGDM in Government Relations, Corporate Affairs, Public Policy, Business Administration or HR will be an added advantage. - LLB/LLM or qualification in Regulatory/Industrial Relations will be preferred. - Candidates with any postgraduate degree along with relevant experience in Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs or Manufacturing may be considered. - Strong knowledge of Government policies, industrial regulations, labour laws, statutory compliances and Government incentive schemes will be preferred. - Exposure to the Automotive/Manufacturing/Industrial sector will be an added advantage. **Desired Qualities** - Excellent drafting, written a
