Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Lead project cost control activities to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and financial targets. - Develop project cost baselines, cash flow forecasts, and cost tracking systems throughout the project lifecycle. - Monitor actual costs against budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate financial risks. - Prepare and maintain project cost reports, forecasts, and management dashboards for timely decision-making. - Coordinate with project, procurement, contracts, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting. - Track commitments, accruals, change orders, and project expenditures to maintain cost visibility and control. - Support project budgeting, estimate reviews, and bid preparation activities from a cost management perspective. - Perform earned value analysis (EVA) and cost performance assessments to evaluate project health and forecast outcomes. - Identify potential cost overruns and develop mitigation plans to improve project profitability and financial performance. - Support contract administration, claims, variations, and change management activities by assessing cost impacts. - Ensure compliance with company project controls procedures, financial policies, and reporting standards. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost control processes, systems, and reporting accuracy. **Preferred candidate profile** - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline). - 10-15 years of experience in Cost Control, Project Controls, Commercial Projects, or Project Finance within Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Energy, Infrastructure, or Industrial Projects. - Proven experience managing cost control functions for medium to large-scale EPC projects. - Strong exposure to project budgeting, forecasting, earned value management, and project financial reporting.
