Educational Requirements - Bachelor of Engineering - Bachelor of Mechanical Engg - Bachelor Of Technology Service Line Engineering Services Responsibilities - Perform Product Teardown Should-cost analysis for Automotive / Energy equipments Tool/ Dies/Mold Costing etc. - Lead VAVE workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities - Collaborate with design, sourcing, and suppliers to optimize product cost - Support new product development with early cost estimation - Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes for cost validation - Drive supply chain cost reduction and localization strategies Additional Responsibilities - B.E./B. Tech in Mechanicalor Industrial Engineering - 38 years in cost engineering, preferably in automotive, Medical or energy domains - Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes - Experience in costing of mechanical parts assemblies involving stamping, injection molding, die casting, forging, machining and secondary finishing processes etc... - Experience with VAVE, cost modeling tools, and supplier negotiations - Familiarity working on COTS tools like Siemens TcPCM, aPriori, SEER etc...
