Each Godrej Properties development combines the over 125-year legacy of excellence and trust with a commitment to cutting-edge design, technology, and sustainability. www.godrejproperties.com JOB PURPOSE The primary purpose of Cost estimating & Budgeting is to Prepare Budget & Estimation given the level and quality of scope definition at different phases of the project lifecycle. It includes providing the basis of the budget and shares a goal with cost control of maximizing the probability of the actual cost outcome being the same as predicted. Develop self-skills by seeking knowledge and continuous application or benchmark from the best practices guidelines such as Estimating professional guide and recommended practices on cost estimating handbook, cost estimating and assessment guide across the relevant stakeholders of the organization and Industry. **JOB DESCRIPTION** - Prepare project estimates at various phases of the project life cycle and support and work closely with estimating manager and adhering to estimating standards to establish the budget for the project. - Analyze detailed estimates, including area and quantity Coefficients and rates (Attribution Analysis). - Prepare quantity take-off for preparation of Bill of Quantities & Bill of Materials. - Preparation of details Estimate for Tender Package along with proper rate analysis based on the current market rates. - Ensure appropriate assessment of costs for all project activities and review all estimates before submission. - Participate in Project risk reviews and works with the stakeholders to develop and review strategies and management plans to mitigate identified risks and maximize identified opportunities to establish the contingency estimates. - Support the Project in Charge in developing the project procurement strategy. - Liaise with external consultants and collaborate with various stakeholders for quantity and specification of Tender packages for projects. Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to backup estimate and organized by cost work breakdown structure. - Complete understanding of direct & indirect costs and application of these costs to the cost estimate Develop estimation best practices and procedures and improve them to ensure consistency in deliverables. - Participate in the Lessons Learned process and drive proposed changes to enhance project success. - In addition, initiate enhancements and implementation improvements identified in the lessons learned process. - Review and incorporate historical data from orders, vendor productivity analysis etc. Prepare detailed Rate analysis **QUALIFICATION** - Engineering Graduate **EXPERIENCE** - Should have 13 years experience exclusively in cost estimation & budgeting. Awareness of design principles. v Extensive experience from any leading Real Estate Developers/EPC organization. Hand on experience in MS Office, AUTOCAD. Strong Communication & presentation skill. High Quantitative aptitude.
