Costing Engineer

Job description

**Roles and Responsibilities :** - Develop accurate cost estimates for automotive components, including door trims, exterior trims, glass, GSM modules, mechanism parts, pillar trims, plastic moldings, seals, and trims. - Conduct zero-based costing analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or functionality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards. - Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform costing decisions. **Job Requirements :** - 2-12 years of experience in costing engineering or a related field within the automobile industry. - Strong understanding of various materials used in vehicle manufacturing (e.g., plastics, metals). - Proficiency in developing detailed cost estimates using software such as "Should Costing" tools.
