**About your role:** Credit Risk teams at Fiserv support informed decision-making by evaluating client and portfolio risk across financial services and payments activities. In this role, you will analyze financial and credit data, monitor risk trends, and support risk assessment activities that help guide credit decisions and protect business performance. You will also contribute to reporting, investigations, and model support activities while helping maintain compliance with regulatory and policy requirements. **What youll do:** - Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and related documentation to assess the credit risk of prospective and existing clients. - Monitor client account activity, portfolio trends, and risk indicators to identify potential credit concerns and emerging patterns. - Prepare credit risk exposure reports, summarize findings, and support management review of risk trends and decision outcomes. - Partner with underwriting teams to provide analysis, recommendations, and supporting information for credit decisions. - Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to support adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and policy standards. - Assist with the development, testing, or validation of risk models, scorecards, or decision-support tools used in credit evaluation processes. - Gather and interpret data from multiple systems and sources to support investigations, risk reviews, and credit-related analysis. **Experience you’ll need to have:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. - 3+ years of experience in credit risk, corporate or middle-market lending, merchant acquiring risk, enterprise client risk management, or asset-based lending. - Strong analytical and financial assessment skills, including the ability to review and interpret business financial statements. - Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain findings and present recommendations to senior leaders, banking partners, external stakeholders, legal teams, and merchants. - Strong business judgment with the ability to think strategically, solve problems, and identify practical solutions. - Effective negotiation and influencing skills. - Comfortable working independently or as part of a team, with a willingness to take ownership and share knowledge. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and adaptable to learning new systems and tools.
