**Job Title: CVAD & Azure Engineer** **Location:** Bangalore **Experience Level:** 5-7 years **Employment Type:** Full-time **Job Summary** We are looking for an experienced **CVAD & Azure Engineer** to design, implement, and support enterprise-level virtual desktop and cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)**, **Microsoft Azure**, and associated technologies, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across virtual environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage **Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops** environments, including delivery controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Gateway, and Citrix Cloud integrations. - Configure and manage **Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)** and hybrid integrations with Citrix Cloud or on-prem environments. - Manage **Azure Infrastructure Services** including VMs, networking, storage, and identity management (Entra ID / Azure AD). - Perform **patching, upgrades, and performance tuning** for Citrix and Azure components. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Citrix, Azure, and supporting infrastructure. - Automate operational tasks using **PowerShell**, **Azure Automation**, or **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** tools. - Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to organizational policies and best practices. - Monitor system health and capacity using **Citrix Director**, **Azure Monitor**, and other observability tools. - Support migrations from on-prem Citrix environments to **Citrix Cloud** or **Azure Virtual Desktop**. - Prepare and maintain **technical documentation**, SOPs, and architectural diagrams. **Required Skills & Experience** - 5+ years of hands-on experience with **Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)** or **Citrix Cloud**. - Strong knowledge of **Microsoft Azure** services – compute, networking, identity, and automation. - Experience managing **Active Directory**, **Group Policy**, - Proficiency with **PowerShell scripting** for automation and management tasks. - Understanding of **XenServer**, **Profile Management**, and **Application Layering**. - Experience with **Windows Server OS**, **RDS roles**, and **Microsoft 365** integration. - Integrate **Microsoft Defender for Cloud**, **Sentinel**, and **Azure Monitor**. - Automate deployment using **ARM templates**, **Bicep**, or **Terraform**. - Integrate Citrix with **Active Directory**, **Azure AD**, and **Azure Cloud**. - Familiarity with **ITIL processes**, incident/change management, and enterprise support practices. **Preferred Qualifications** - Certifications such as: - **Citrix Certified Associate / Professional (CCA–V / CCP–V)** - **Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Solutions Architect Expert** - Knowledge of **network security** and **load balancing**, - Exposure to **Cloud cost optimization** and **monitoring best practices**. **Soft Skills** - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment. - Customer-focused mindset and ownership attitude.
