Job Description Title: Data Architect **Experience:** 9–20 Years **Location:** Pune, Mumbai, bangalore, hyderabad, Noida, Kolkata, Chennai Notice Period- Immediate to 30 days Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Data Architect** to design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern cloud data platforms, data architecture, ETL processes, and big data technologies. Experience with either **Microsoft Azure** or **Amazon Web Services (AWS)** cloud ecosystem is required. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement enterprise-scale data architecture solutions aligned with business and technology goals. - Develop scalable data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data platforms. - Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data. - Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration frameworks. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define data strategies and architecture standards. - Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across data platforms. - Optimize data models and processing pipelines for performance and scalability. - Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives for data platforms. - Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams on best practices. Required Skills - 9–20 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related roles. - Hands-on experience with **Microsoft Azure** or **Amazon Web Services (AWS)** . - Experience with cloud-native services such as: - **Azure:** Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks. - **AWS:** AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, AWS Lambda, Athena. - Strong expertise in **Databricks** . - Hands-on experience with **PySpark** and **Python** . - Strong knowledge of **ETL/ELT** design and implementation. - Experience designing and implementing **Data Lakes** and **Data Warehouses** . - Strong understanding of data modelling concepts (dimensional and relational). - Experience with SQL and performance tuning. - Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices. Preferred Skills - Experience with real-time or streaming data architectures. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Experience with Agile delivery methodologies. - Cloud certifications (Azure or AWS) are an added advantage. Educational Qualification - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Desired Candidate Profile - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to lead technical discussions and architecture decisions. - Experience working in enterprise-scale data transformation projects.
