Location: CIEC, Chennai Job Summary Responsible for building and optimizing scalable data pipelines and data solutions to support analytics, reporting, and downstream applications. Develops efficient SQL-based transformations, ingestion frameworks, and reusable data processing logic to ensure high-quality, reliable data delivery across cloud environments. Works with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and distributed processing frameworks, with a strong focus on advanced SQL, programming proficiency, and cloud-based data engineering. Ensures data quality, governance, and lineage to support accurate insights and dependable decision-making. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve data sourcing, processing efficiency, and operational reliability. Acts as a strong individual contributor in complex environments, supports junior engineers, and helps improve internal data engineering tools and frameworks. Job Description Skills and Experience • 4–6+ years of experience in Data Engineering • Advanced SQL with strong query writing and optimization expertise • Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or similar programming languages • Experience with at least one cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Experience with Snowflake/Databricks. • Exposure to distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark • Exposure to cloud data warehouse management, workflow orchestration & automation (e.g., dbt, Airflow) • Experience with CI/CD implementation and deployment processes • Ability to work independently while contributing to team standards and best practices Responsibilities • Develop and maintain data structures and pipelines to standardize and transform data for analytics and reporting needs • Write efficient SQL queries and transformations to support reliable data processing • Ensure data quality across ingestion, processing, and loading into target tables • Build ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data with validation and quality checks • Establish data consumption methods for end users and downstream applications such as views and APIs • Implement data solutions on platforms like Snowflake and Databricks in alignment with architectural standards • Use cloud storage and processing t
