**BI Data Professional -- Tax Technology** **About the Role** Client is seeking an experienced **BI Data Professional** to support the Tax Technology team in delivering strategic, pioneer projects. These projects involve leveraging **Snowflake** as the foundation for BI solutions and integrating data from various sources including Snowflake databases, ERPs and external files. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in **Snowflake, Snowpark, Microsoft Azure, Python, SQL, ETL operations** , and experience working with **DataIKU**. **Key Responsibilities** * Explore and analyze existing **Snowflake databases and data warehouses** to understand their structure and identify opportunities for BI use cases. * Design and implement **data connections** , create new tables, and develop queries, **Python scripts** to merge, clean, enrich, and transform data from multiple sources. * Integrate data into the BI solutions from external sources leveraging **Azure Data Factory** and **Snowflake** for subsequent workflows and BI solutions. * Prepare and channel data into subsequent solutionsfor advanced analytics, visualization, and reporting. * Ensure data quality and consistency across all stages of the pipeline. * Work independently with minimal IT support, taking ownership of project deliverables and timelines. * Prior experience with Finance and Tax processes is an advantage. **Required Skills \& Experience** * **Strong expertise in Snowflake** (including **Snowpark**) and its ecosystem. * Knowledge of **Microsoft Azure** services, including **Azure Data Factory** for ETL orchestration, Blob Storage for data management. * Proficiency in **Python** and **SQL** for data manipulation and automation. * Hands-on experience with **ETL operations** and data wrangling techniques. * Familiarity with **DataIKU** or similar data science platforms. * Ability to integrate and manage data from external sources. * Experience in building scalable data pipelines and BI solutions. * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. * Strong communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders. * Knowledge of corporate data governance and security is preferred.
