We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic **Data Migration Lead / Architect** with over 12 years of IT experience to drive complex data migration initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the data migration strategy, designing end-to-end architecture, and leading the execution of seamless data transitions from legacy systems to modern enterprise platforms. **Position Details** - **Role:** Data Migration Lead / Architect - **Experience Level:** 12+ Years - **Job Location:** Pune, India - **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Key Responsibilities** - **Architecture & Strategy:** Define, own, and execute the end-to-end data migration strategy, governance framework, and fallback mechanisms for enterprise-scale migrations. - **Data Mapping & Modeling:** Lead source-to-target data mapping, data profiling, transformation rules, and validation schemas, ensuring zero data loss. - **ETL Design & Development:** Architect and oversee the development of robust ETL pipelines using enterprise tools to extract, transform, and load massive data sets. - **ERP Integration:** Collaborate closely with ERP functional and technical teams to ensure seamless data alignment with enterprise architectures. - **Stakeholder & Team Leadership:** Lead a team of data engineers and developers; act as the primary point of contact for business and technical stakeholders regarding data readiness and risks. - **Quality Assurance:** Establish data quality, cleansing, and reconciliation frameworks to validate the integrity and accuracy of migrated data. **Required Skills & Qualifications** - **Experience:** **12+ years** of core IT experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale data migration projects. - **Domain Expertise:** Strong background in **ERP data structures** and migration methodologies (e.g., migrating legacy data into SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ecosystems). - **ETL & Cloud Tools:** Deep technical expertise in at least one of the following enterprise ETL/Data Integration suites: - **Informatica** (PowerCenter / IICS) - **Azure Data Factory (ADF)** - **Alteryx** - **Data Modeling & Databases:** Proficient in SQL, advanced data profiling, data warehousing concepts, and data quality tools. - **Soft Skills:** Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business leadership.
