As our segments' ambition for data, platform, AI analytics and agents expands, this role plays a crucial part in supporting AI analytics and agents, by strengthening the data platform architecture. The primary focus of this role is on establishing robust data platform capabilities and services to enable business segments launch data products ready for consumption by agents and AI analytics solutions. This includes setting up virtual data distribution methods, data governance using the right access postures, security policies, data discoverability for re-use, enabling data product consumption using agent-to-agent and MCP protocols. *What will be your key responsibilities?* **++Platform Architecture and Engineering:++** * Design and implement robust and scalable platform services, features and frameworks on the Enterprise Data Platform. * Integrate Enterprise Data Platform with other participating hyperscaler platforms, data lakes and application data warehouses within the client data estate / ecosystem. * Setup data governance postures, security policies, catalogue services, marketplace, and RBAC access management as required to support the agent and AI analytics solution requirements * Oversee data product management to drive effective reuse while being consumed by agents and AI analytics solutions * Collaborate with Cloud COE to script, subscribe and instantiate the data platform resources * Setup metadata and context modelling services on the platform to be a leveraged by the agents * Setup clean room, zero data copy and federated data distribution patterns to virtually run queries, federate the data distribution, and make sample data available for marketplace and partner access * Leverage AI agents to drive platform engineering efficiencies and reduce the cost of data platform management and operations * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and requirements. * Take ownership of Data Platform solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of segments, cross-segment, and Enterprise. **++Value Creation:++** * Drive the delivery of segment and cross segment platform architecture to support value creation in the next 3 years. * Work towards optimizing and enhancing existing platforms to maximize efficiency and performance and reduce total cost of ownership. * Utilize the available tools for Data distribution and Data visualizations, contributing to the overall analytics capabilities. **++Technical Integrations:++** * Lead and contribute to technical integrations using Service Now, ensuring effective Data Governance. * Implement seamless connectivity across different systems and data sources. * Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to implement effective data solutions. **++Data Governance and Management:++** * Implement and enforce data governance policies using Service Now for enhanced control and visibility. * Work closely with Data and Architecture POD to establish and maintain data governance best practices. * Ensure compliance and security of data through effective governance measures. **++Continuous Improvement:++** * Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, especially in Azure Platform Technologies, Multi-cloud technologies, Gen AI / Open AI capabilities, Terraform scripts, and other data virtualisation technologies to enhance the efficiency of the data platform. **++Migration Expertise and Additional Expertise++**: * In-depth expertise in migrating data platforms, including strategy development and execution. * Proficient in troubleshooting and optimizing data platform performance during and post-migration. **Skills:** Action Planning, Analyse Current State / future state, Business Data Modelling, DB Administration, Data Collection and Analysis, Data Control, Document and Model platform processes, Network/IT security, Perform Gap Analysis, Planning and Organizing **Competencies:** Communicates Effectively, Courage, Cultivates Innovation, Drives Engagement, Ensures Accountability, Manages Complexity, Optimizes Work Processes, Plans and Aligns, Strategic Mindset, Tech Savvy **++Qualifications:++** * 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer with a focus on Azure Technologies. * Knowledge of AI studio and platforms - Enterprise Gemini agent orchestration, Azure AI Foundry, Co-pilot studio etc. * Experience with leveraging GCP, Databricks, Snowflake for Data distribution and Data virtualization in tandem with Azure technologies. * Familiarity with Service Now integrations for Data Governance within a large-scale data environment.
