**About the Role:** - The Privacy Professional will be responsible for management of data privacy issues and risk across select geographical locations where client operates. This role will work closely with client legal, IT, compliance, security and operations teams. **Activities:** - Providing strategic advice on regulatory requirements of global data protection laws and privacy issues across the organization. - Conduct privacy risk assessments, DPIAs, gap assessments, and regulatory readiness reviews. - Advise on cross-border data transfers, consent management, retention, and data minimization. - Design and map the personal data collected/ processed/ stored/ transferred across all the business functions within client environment. - Support new initiatives by analyzing privacy implications of new products, services, and processes and providing guidance on minimizing privacy risks. - Analyze the business processes for applicability of Data Protection Impact Assessment and assess gaps and risks. - Design and operationalize privacy governance models, policies, standards, and operating procedures. - Design and deliver comprehensive data privacy training programs on applicable global privacy regimes, and their impact on client business operations. - Assess the security posture of enterprise and recommend controls to have reasonable security safeguards in place to ensure personal data protection.
