Data Science Senior Architect

Job description

We are seeking an experienced **AI Architect** with 12- 16 years of experience in **AI Architecture, Solution Design, and Enterprise Data Platforms**, with strong expertise in **Databricks**. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of scalable **AI/ML and Generative AI solutions**, define AI technology roadmaps, and drive enterprise AI transformation initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in **Databricks Lakehouse Platform, AI/ML architecture, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, MLOps, and cloud technologies**, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Define AI architecture strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures aligned with business objectives. - Lead AI solutioning workshops and design end-to-end AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions. - Architect and implement AI and data platforms using **Databricks Lakehouse**, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Mosaic AI, and Databricks Workflows. - Design scalable data pipelines, governance frameworks, and modernization strategies for enterprise platforms. - Build and deploy GenAI solutions leveraging **LLMs, RAG frameworks, Vector Databases, and AI Agents**. - Establish MLOps/LLMOps practices, model governance, monitoring, and AI lifecycle management. - Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and engage with senior stakeholders on AI strategy and transformation initiatives. **Required Qualifications** - 1216 years of overall IT experience. - 5+ years of experience in **AI/ML Architecture, Solution Design, and AI Consulting**. - 5+ years of hands-on experience with **Databricks**. - Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI, Analytics, and Data Platform solutions. - Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and solution consulting skills. **Technical Skills** - **AI/ML & GenAI:** LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Model Governance, Explainable AI. - **Databricks:** Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Mosaic AI, Delta Live Tables, Databricks SQL, Feature Store. - **Programming:** Python, PySpark, SQL. - **MLOps/LLMOps:** CI/CD, MLflow, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, Model Monitoring. - **Cloud:** Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP; experience with Azure Databricks, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, SageMaker, Bedrock, or Vertex AI. **Preferred Qualifications** - Databricks, Azure AI, or Cloud Architect certifications. - Experience across BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Telecom domains. - Exposure to Enterprise Architecture frameworks and Responsible AI practices. **Key Competencies** **AI Architecture | AI Solutioning | Databricks Lakehouse | Generative AI | LLMs | RAG | MLOps | Cloud Architecture | Enterprise Data Platforms | Stakeholder Management | Technical Leadership**
