Job description

**Required Skills & Experience:** - Commercial data science experience, with 4+ years delivering endtoend data science projects, from exploratory data analysis and feature engineering through to model development, validation and translation of results into actionable insights. - Strong data manipulation and modelling skills, including experience in feature extraction, feature development and data modelling techniques. - Solid Python background, with experience writing clean, modular and maintainable code following best practices such as abstraction, exception handling and testing to support longterm maintainability. - Advanced SQL capability, particularly for data exploration, reporting, feature creation and extraction, and integration with analytical workflows. - Experience in data visualisation and dashboarding, using frameworks such as Grafana or Superset to support business use cases. - Ability to mentor and support colleagues, with experience guiding and supporting junior to midlevel data scientists. - Comfortable working in Agile environments, with experience participating in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications** - Familiarity with cloud data platforms, including experience with products such as BigQuery, CloudSQL and similar solutions. - Networking or telecommunications domain knowledge, with an understanding of network infrastructure, operations or service monitoring environments. - Exposure to monitoring and observability tools, such as Prometheus, or similar metricsbased monitoring platforms. - Experience in one or more of the following analytics and machine learning areas: timeseries forecasting, anomaly detection, and correlation analysis, using either traditional statistical techniques or deeplearningbased approaches.
