We’re looking for a seasoned Application Security Architect to join our Security Architecture practice, helping to secure the applications, APIs, and digital platforms that power HPE’s global business. If you’re passionate about secure software design, enabling DevSecOps at scale, and shaping how security is embedded into enterprise and AI-enhanced applications, this is the role for you. The data security engineer is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s data security. This role involves working closely with IT, DevOps, and other business units to implement and operate Data Loss Prevention and other data security programs. **What you’ll do** **Responsibilities:** •  Assist with the design and deployment of enterprise data protection capabilities like DLP, encryption, SSPM, and CASB •  Assist with the evaluation and adoption of new security tools and technologies, ensuring they are effectively integrated and managed. •  Manage and fine tune data security policies with the changing requirements • Contribute to security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud environments. • Collaborate with data warehouse team to feed data into SIEM and long term storage solutions • Assist with automation of DLP configuration and reporting using Powershell, Microsoft Graph API, and Zscaler APIs. - *Assist with triaging of DLP Incidents and reporting to Management.* - *Assist with Fine tuning policies with respect to incidents* • SME for the technical response of high-severity security incidents, coordinating efforts across multiple teams and ensuring rapid containment and esolution. • Contribute to playbooks and procedures. • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT, DevOps, legal, and compliance teams, to ensure that security initiatives align with business goals. •             Provide expert guidance on emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements, contributing to the development of the organization’s cybersecurity strategy. **What you need to bring*****:*** **Education and Experience Required:** •  Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
