**Role:** Databse Admin (PostgreSQL) - L2/L3 **Experience:** 8 to 12 years **Location:Bangalore** **Mode of Interview: Face to Face Inperson ( Walk in Interview)** **Date of interview: 8th August 2026 (Saturday)** **Required Skills:** - Minimum 5+years of Hands-on PostgreSQL & EDB DB database - Knowledge Performance Tunning & High Availability. - Expertise in PostgreSQL, proficiency in SQL **Good to have:** - Knowledge of SQL, Bank Domain, Servers, OS RHEL, Storage & Network **Requirement and skill:** - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills for database related issues. - Relevant certifications in PostgreSQL or EDB PostgreSQL can be advantageous - Communications skills are also essential - Good documentation skills to maintain clear records of database structure, configurations, and procedures. - Continuous learning to stay updated on the latest trends and development in PostgreSQL **Responsibilities:** - Database Administration which includes manage, configure and maintain EDB PostgreSQL databases - PostgreSQL & EDB Database Performance Tuning and optimizing PostgreSQL databases for improved performance and responsiveness. - In-depth expertise and guidance on all aspects of EDB PostgreSQL database management - PostgreSQL & EDB Database Performance Tuning and optimizing PostgreSQL databases for improved performance and responsiveness. - PostgreSQL & EDB Database Management and High Availability Setup such as replication and failover mechanism, to ensure continuous access of data. - Creating and maintaining data models to ensure data integrity and efficient querying. - PostgreSQL & EDB Database Backup, Recovery and DR Planning, Setup & Management - Implementing and maintaining database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and authentication. - Collaboration with developers, system administrators and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance, - Scalability to database to accommodate future growth and increased data volumes. - Version Upgrades and patching and applying patches to ensure the security and stability of PostgreSQL. - Ability to work with various operating systems, specially RHEL. - Familiar with the monitoring tools to track database performance.
