Database Administrator (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) 5+ Years Pune Database Administrator (DBA) with 58 years of experience managing and optimizing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Server databases. The ideal candidate will be adept at working across Linux and Windows Server environments, ensuring database reliability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MSSQL databases. Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance for scalability and efficiency. Backup and Recovery: Implement and test backup and disaster recovery plans. Cross-Platform Support: Manage databases on both Linux and Windows Server environments. Strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL Proficiency in SQL, shell scripting, and database monitoring tools. Solid understanding of replication, clustering, and high availability setups. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Good to have Exposure to Oracle and cloud database services (OCI). Familiarity monitoring tools like ops manager, Prometheus and Grafana, SolarWinds Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
