Experience - 6–10 Years **Location :** Chennai / Hyderabad Must have skills - DB2 Udb, IBM DPF and Q-REP Role Summary We are looking for a skilled DB2 Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize DB2 database environments across development, testing, and production systems. The role involves database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and ensuring high availability. ͏ Key Responsibilities Administer, monitor, and maintain DB2 databases to ensure high performance, availability, and security . Install, configure, and upgrade DB2 database environments Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement tuning strategies Create and manage DB2 objects (tables, indexes, schemas) based on application requirements Support development, QA, and production deployments Perform capacity planning and database maintenance activities Work with application and infrastructure teams to resolve database issues Implement and manage database security, user roles, and access controls Provide support for incidents, problem management, and change management processes Participate in 24x7 support/on-call rotation (for L3 roles) ͏ ͏ ͏ **Mandatory Skills:** DB2 UDB Admin . **Experience:** 5-8 Years .
