The Assistant Team Leader (ATL) role at Delhivery is a crucial ground-level management position, typically stationed at a Delivery Center (DC), This role primarily focuses on ensuring smooth supply chain flow and handling the on-ground execution of last-mile or first-mile logistics. Key Roles & Responsibilities As an Assistant Team Leader, your day is highly dynamic and centers around operations, team handling, and problem-solving. Operations Management: Overseeing daily incoming and outgoing shipments, managing route planning, load optimization, and ensuring packages are dispatched on time. Team Handling: Directly supervising delivery executives (riders), loaders, and sorters. This includes tracking their daily attendance, assigning tasks, and managing shift schedules. Performance Monitoring: Ensuring the team meets key metrics like TAT (Turnaround Time), delivery success rates, and pickup fulfillment targets. Issue Resolution: Handling real-time escalations, customer complaints, failed delivery attempts (NDR management), and rider grievances. Cash & Inventory Control: Managing COD (Cash on Delivery) collections reconciliation and auditing physical inventory against system data to minimize leakage. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Generally open to Graduates in any discipline (12th pass with strong relevant experience is also considered sometimes). Experience: 1–2 years in logistics, warehousing, e-commerce, or courier operations is highly preferred. Freshers with strong leadership traits are also hired. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Excel (for reporting data) and comfort using smartphone applications/logistics software. Core Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, high stress tolerance, fluency in the local language, and clear communication skills.
