Delivery Management Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderbad/ Pune/Mumbai/ Noida Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Module Lead to oversee and manage the delivery of projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in IMS DB, MVS COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and Db2, ensuring that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive project success through meticulous planning and execution. Responsibilities: - Lead the delivery management process for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and client expectations. - Utilize strong IMS DB knowledge to oversee database management and ensure data integrity throughout project lifecycles. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones. - Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any issues or risks. - Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in delivery management. - Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Mandatory Skills: - Strong expertise in IMS DB is a deal breaker for this role. - Proficient in MVS COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and Db2. - Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivery and quality. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools. - Knowledge of additional programming languages or database management systems. - Familiarity with cloud technologies and their application in project delivery. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus. - Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects successfully.
