**Shift- Night shift** **Job Summary:** The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to support inventory planning, sales, and operations. This role collaborates cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts. **Key Responsibilities:** **Forecasting & Analysis** - Develop and maintain statistical demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional plans. - Analyze forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variances. - Monitor key demand planning metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, bias, inventory turnover). **Collaboration & Communication** - Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance to incorporate business intelligence and market insights into forecasts. - Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align demand and supply plans. - Communicate forecast changes and risks to stakeholders proactively. **Inventory & Supply Chain Support** - Support inventory optimization by aligning demand forecasts with supply planning. - Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend actions. - Assist in planning for new product launches, promotions, and end-of-life products. **Reporting** - Generate regular reports and dashboards for leadership on forecast performance and inventory health.
