Job description

The purpose of this role is to lead the execution and management of passive product initiatives across ETFs, Index Funds, and related investment solutions, while overseeing product lifecycle management, product communication, market analytics, and launch execution for the AMC. The role will be responsible for managing a team of product specialists/analysts, driving market and competitor insights, supporting new product development, strengthening product positioning, and enabling effective sales and investor communication to support growth in passive assets under management (AUM). - Define and drive the strategic roadmap for passive products including ETFs, Index Funds, Smart Beta and thematic passive offerings. - Identify emerging market opportunities, investor trends, and competitive gaps to conceptualize differentiated investment solutions. - Build scalable passive product propositions aligned with AMC business priorities, distribution strategy, and market demand. - Drive growth in passive AUM, market share, profitability, and category positioning through strategic interventions. - Evaluate new business opportunities across passive investing, digital platforms, institutional mandates, retirement/passive allocation solutions, and strategic partnerships. - Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle management from ideation, feasibility assessment, regulatory alignment, launch execution, scaling, and product optimization. - Review feasibility studies, market analytics, and business cases prepared by the team for new product proposals. - Provide strategic direction for product positioning, packaging, pricing, benchmark selection, and differentiation. - Ensure successful execution of launches through effective coordination with Investments, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams. - Drive periodic product reviews and recommend product enhancement, repositioning, merger, or rationalization strategies based on performance and business priorities. - Ensure key passive products move toward sustainable maturity and long-term profitability.
