Job description

**Responsibilities** - Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team ensuring high reliability and availability of all electrical equipment and systems in the power plant. - Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. - Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, motors, and control panels. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and statutory regulations to maintain a safe working environment - - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Operations to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues - - Optimize power consumption and electrical system performance through data-driven analysis and adoption of latest technologies. - Manage budgets, procurements, and vendor relationships related to electrical equipment and services - - Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and compliance records for audits and inspections - - Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians by conducting training sessions and performance reviews - - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in electrical system management aligned with Adani’s culture of operational excellence and innovation - - Participate in strategic planning and execution of plant modernization projects including renewable energy integration. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and contribute to the sustainability goals of the organization by promoting energy-efficient solutions - - Handle emergency response during electrical faults or failures to restore normal operations swiftly. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and team engagement. - Champion Adani’s core values of integrity, innovation, and commitment towards the environment in all aspects of work. **Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
