**Location:** Raipur **Job Type:** Full-time / Permanent **Experience Level:** 8 - 10 years **Department:** IT **Reporting To:** CTO - **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, capable IT professional to be the help build and support IT infrastructure for our new PEB manufacturing facility in Raipur. This is not a policy-and-oversight role the person will be expected to physically troubleshoot, configure, and support infrastructure on-site, while coordinating with remote/HQ teams and vendors for deeper technical escalations. **Key Responsibilities** **IT Infrastructure & Networking** - Own day-to-day administration of the plant's LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi network — switches (L2/L3), routers, structured cabling (Cat6/fiber), and firewall (Fortinet or equivalent). - Manage VLAN design and network segmentation, with particular attention to IT/OT segregation between office systems and shop-floor (PLC/CNC/SCADA) networks. - Administer CCTV/surveillance and AI-enabled camera systems. - Manage internet bandwidth, VPN, and remote access solutions. - Maintain server environments (Windows and Linux), user access management, and backup/recovery processes. **IT/OT & Shop-Floor Integration** - Act as the on-ground IT liaison for connecting CNC/PLC machines and IIoT sensors to central systems (SCADA, MES, ERP). - Understand basic principles of how OT devices communicate on the network (protocols, isolation, uptime sensitivity) even without deep OT engineering expertise. - Provide support for network connectivity issues on the shop floor — with support from remote OT / automation specialists as needed. - Support barcode-based material tracking systems and their network/infrastructure dependencies. **ERP & Business Systems Support** - Provide local IT support for SAP S/4HANA (or similar ERP) users — access issues, connectivity, printer/scanner integration, basic troubleshooting. - Coordinate with corporate/remote ERP and MDM teams on rollouts, master data issues, and system changes affecting the plant. - Administer or support production/industrial software as applicable (e.g., StruMIS, SigmaNEST, Tekla, AutoCAD/ZWCAD) depending on final tech stack. **Vendor & Project Coordination** - Serve as the plant's point person for IT/networking vendors — installation, AMC, escalations, and issue resolution. - Support execution of future infrastructure rollout projects. - Coordinate with Azure/cloud connectivity providers and the corporate HQ network team for site-to-HQ links. **Security, Compliance & Leadership** - Implement and enforce IT security policies, user access controls, and basic cybersecurity hygiene at the plant. - Train shopfloor and office users on relevant systems and tools. - Manage or mentor junior IT/helpdesk staff at the facility. **Required Experience & Skills** - 8 - 10 years of progressive IT infrastructure/network administration experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment. - Demonstrated hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet or similar), VLAN configuration, L2/L3 switches, structured cabling. - Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration. - Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred, or similar — Spectrum, etc.) from an IT support/admin standpoint, not functional configuration. - Some exposure to CNC/PLC-connected environments, industrial software (SigmaNEST, StruMIS, Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar), or willingness to quickly ramp up on these. - Comfortable being the "last mile" technical resource on-site, while relying on remote specialist teams (OT engineers, SAP Basis, network architects) for deeper issues. - Strong vendor management and cross-team coordination skills. **Good to Have** - Prior experience with IT/OT network segregation projects. - Exposure to SCADA or IIoT sensor deployments. - Experience supporting a greenfield or newly commissioned plant (rather than only steady-state operations). - Cloud platform familiarity (Azure preferred).
