**Role Title- Design Engineer- Climate Control** **Tools** - CATIA V5/V6, 3DExperiance, Teamcenter, Visualization Mock-up **Exp** 5 7 yrs **Education** -Bachelors/Masters degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field Job Descriptions: - This position is responsible for creation of CAD geometry, CAD Proposals and Drawings / 3D annotations. You will have responsibility for: - Design and development of Cooing System and its Component, AC Lines Hoses, Cooling Circuit layout - Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time - Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence - Ability to check and manage clearance to interface parts. - Ensure manufacturing feasibility of parts. - Ensuring issues that cannot be resolved are escalated to Lead Engineer / Scrum team - Ensuring that the all project deliverables are met on-time - Ensure all packaging feasibility for Component - Identifying all risks to the programme - Extensive experience in using CATIA V5 TCe - Good all round design skills which must include past experience of working on at least one of Cooling Systems - Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector. - Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production manufacturing requirements. - Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels, **Skills requirement:** - Good understanding of system level as well as component level working. - Knowledge of cooling system and component design requirement for AC lines, HVAC, Condenser, Chiller, Mounts and brackets. - Knowledge of material selection for different components. - Ability to create parametric models using CATIA V5 and V6. - Working with parametric design and methodology. - Working knowledge of PLM systems (Team Centre) - Ability to benchmark and provide innovative approach for a problem. - Ability to interact with cross functional teams like CAE/VI Lead teams, interpret CAE results and suggest corrective actions. - Good understanding on GDT and tolerance stack up analysis. - Good understanding of manufacturing process Plastic moulding methods, Casting sheet metal - Should be a good team member. - Strong communication skills.
