**Education** -Bachelors/Masters degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field **Job Descriptions:** - Responsible for designing different parts of body structures modules. (Underbody Front floor, middle floor, rear floor, Dash cowl, brackets reinforcements, Upper body BSO, A pillar, B pillar, C pillar, D pillar, its reinforcements supporting brackets, gussets, Front Structures components, Roof panel its subsystem components) etc. - Responsible for creating multiple CAD proposals as per the requirements received from customers. - Extensive experience in using CATIA V5 V6 (Generative Shape design, Part Design, Assembly Drawing workbench) - Create parametric 3D proposals in CATIA V5 V6 maintaining editable history, define materials create components as well as assembly drawings with drawing standards wherever applicable. - Working knowledge of 3D annotation, GDT, basic tolerance stack up, datum scheme, parts joining strategy and sealing strategy. - Styling Packaging Feasibilities, Regulatory Checks, Engineering Master Sections, Good knowledge of all regulatory and functional requirements. - Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence. - Detailed Engineering knowledge of design, function, performance, production manufacturing requirements. - Basic Knowledge of standards, design rules and Dos Donts in Catia. - Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time. - Be responsible for communication with all Stake holders e.g. Design team, studio, legal, packaging, legal etc - Ensuring that the all-project deliverables are met. **Essentials: -** - CAD Literacy: Ability to generate CAD data and Master sections in CATIA V5 and/or in 3DExperience. - Proven experience in development and/or integration of at least one and preferably more in BIW Structure, UnderbodyUpper body, Sealing, Joining, etc. - Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector. - Niche Skills like One step simulation, Tolerance stack up calculation, Bolt Calculations will be added advantage. - Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production manufacturing requirements. - Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels, - PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc
