Design Engineering Manager

Job description

**Key Responsibilities:** - Lead feasibility studies, conceptualization, budgeting, and mechanical engineering for project proposals. - Ensure timely release of basic and detailed engineering drawings, BOM & BOQ, layouts, equipment specifications, and technical documents. - Review and approve vendor drawings, technical offers, and quality assurance plans. - Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping, Procurement, and Execution teams for seamless project implementation. - Drive project cost optimization, safety by design, statutory compliance, and risk mitigation. - Support brownfield project execution, troubleshooting, shutdown activities, and emergency requirements. - Promote continuous improvement, digitization, technology adoption, and engineering excellence. - Develop team capabilities through training, mentoring, and competency enhancement. - Ensure customer satisfaction through close engagement with plant stakeholders and end users.
