**Design Manager - Hospital Construction Project** **Position:** Design Manager **Location:** Delhi NCR **Project Type:** Hospital / Healthcare Facility Construction **Industry:** Project Management Consultancy (PMC) / Construction **Experience Required:** 8+ Years **About the Role** We are seeking an experienced **Design Manager** to lead and coordinate the design management process for a large-scale hospital construction project in Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring design compliance, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving efficient design delivery from concept through construction stages. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist healthcare design consultants. - Ensure design deliverables are aligned with project requirements, timelines, budget, and quality standards. - Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for accuracy, completeness, and constructability. - Facilitate design coordination meetings and resolve interdisciplinary design conflicts. - Monitor design progress and ensure timely submission of design deliverables. - Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. - Ensure compliance with local regulations, healthcare standards, NBC, fire safety norms, and statutory requirements. - Support value engineering initiatives and optimize design solutions. - Coordinate design changes, manage RFIs, and track design-related issues. - Assist project teams during construction by providing technical support and design clarifications. **Qualifications & Experience** - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum 8 years of experience in design management for large-scale building projects. - Experience in hospital, healthcare, institutional, or complex commercial projects will be preferred. - Strong understanding of architectural, structural, MEP, and healthcare facility design requirements. - Experience working with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams. - Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and statutory approvals. **Key Skills** - Design Management - Healthcare/Hospital Design Coordination - Project Planning & Scheduling - Consultant Management - Design Review & Quality Assurance - Value Engineering - Stakeholder Management - Risk & Change Management - Technical Documentation Review - Excellent Communication & Coordination Skills **Why Join Cushman & Wakefield?** As one of the leading global real estate services firms transforming the way people work, shop, and live, working at Cushman & Wakefield means you will benefit from: - Being part of a growing global company. - Career development and a promotion-from-within culture. - An organization committed to Diversity and Inclusion.
