**About the Role** The Head of Design is the business and design leader responsible for driving revenue through exceptional customer engagement, consultative selling, and design excellence. This role owns the customer journey from lead allocation to design sign-off, ensuring every opportunity is effectively converted into revenue while delivering a best-in-class customer experience. As the leader of the design function, the Head of Design is accountable for achieving sales targets through the design team, strengthening design-led conversions, maintaining high design quality, and building a high-performing organization across all centers. The role combines commercial acumen with design leadership to ensure business growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction **Your Key Responsibilities:** - Own revenue and sales targets for all leads assigned to the Design team across locations. - Drive design-led conversions by ensuring every customer is effectively pitched with solutions tailored to their needs and budget. - Lead, mentor, and performance-manage Design Managers to build a high-performing, sales-oriented design organization. - Review key opportunities, support strategic customer pitches, and act as the final escalation point for critical customer or design challenges. - Own Design NPS and customer experience, ensuring a seamless journey from consultation to design approval. - Define and uphold Bonito Designs' design vision, quality standards, and consistency across all projects. - Oversee design operations, resource planning, productivity, and process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce rework. - Partner closely with Sales, Execution, and Procurement teams to ensure commercially viable, executable, and customer-centric design solutions. - Drive innovation, governance, and best practices that enhance both customer experience and business performance. **Experience & Education** - 12–18 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or design-led organizations. - Proven experience leading large, multi-level design teams at scale. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline from a reputed institution. - Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design leadership and executed projects. - Experience working in high-growth, consumer-focused businesses is strongly preferred. **Key Skills and Attributes:** - Strong strategic thinking with the ability to scale design operations. - Deep understanding of residential interior design, customer behavior, and execution realities. - Exceptional people leadership and stakeholder management skills. - Business acumen with the ability to link design decisions to revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction. - Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through ambiguity. - Passion for innovation, quality, and building category-leading design experiences. **Why Join Us:** As Head of Design, you will shape how thousands of customers experience their homes while building one of India’s most admired interior design organizations.
