Dear Professionals Greetings from Tata consultancy Services, Job Title : Devops Automation Engineer Experiernce: 5-10 Years Location: Bangalore/ Chennai/Hyderabad/ Pune Mode of Work : Work from Office Mode of Interview: Virtual **Job description** **Role & responsibilities** An Automation SME specializing in Terraform, Ansible, and DevOps (GitHub) designs and implements Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management to automate cloud/on-premise environments. Key responsibilities include creating scalable CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure provisioning, automating software deployment, and optimizing workflows using Git version control. Key Responsibilities - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and manage infrastructure components using Terraform (modules, workspaces, state management). - Configuration Management: Develop Ansible playbooks and roles for automating configuration across Windows/Linux servers. - DevOps & CI/CD: Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. - Cloud & Containerization: Deploy resources on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and manage containers using Kubernetes/OpenShift. - Scripting & Automation: Utilize Python, Bash, or Shell for custom automation scripts. - Collaboration & Process: Work with cross-functional teams to automate manual processes and ensure compliance with security protocols. Preferred candidate profile Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Terraform. - Version Control: Strong experience with Git and GitHub repository management. - Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services. - Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - DevOps Tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Jenkins. - Education/Experience: Typically 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Automation roles.
