**Must-Have** DevOps Engineer cum Release Manager - 2 Hands on in Containers (Dockers, Kubernetes) Pipeline Management & Environment Management - Expertise in CI CD tools and strong knowledge of git version control and branching strategies. Release & Change Management Security Management - Vulnerability Tracking & Driving them for Closure Tools: - Jenkins - GitLab - Splunk/Datadog - Rancher - ServiceNow - Fortify - Blackduck - Aegis - JIRA - Confluence Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role - DevOps Responsibilities - Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git. - Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools like Splunk, Datadog, etc. - Troubleshoot deployment issues, environment failures, and production incidents. - Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security best practices. - Maintain security compliance by vulnerability scanning, tracking, and driving resolution. - Release Management - Plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across multiple environments. - Create and manage release calendars and deployment schedules. - Coordinate with development, QA, security, and business teams for release readiness. - Conduct release impact analysis and risk assessments. - Ensure all deployment prerequisites, approvals, and change management activities are completed on time. - Document and manage all rollback strategies and contingency planning for production deployment. - Prepare and maintain release documentation, deployment checklist, and SOPs. - Drive release governance and compliance processes. - Coordinate release and handle production deployment - Lead release bridge calls during production deployments and support hypercare activities post deployments.
