Devops Infrastructure Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and application server administration. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Ansible, Linux environments, IBM WebSphere Application Server, and CI/CD tools like IBM UrbanCode Deploy (uDeploy) and Jenkins. The role involves automating infrastructure operations, supporting deployments, troubleshooting issues, and improving operational efficiency. **Role & responsibilities** - **Ansible (Infrastructure Automation)** - Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles. - Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, and operational workflows. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Ansible automation processes. - Good understanding of Ansible best practices and automation frameworks. - **Linux Administration** - Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and basic administration concepts. - Hands-on experience with Linux commands, file systems, processes, services, permissions, and troubleshooting. - Ability to analyze logs and perform basic system-level troubleshooting. - **IBM WebSphere Application Server v9** - Good understanding of IBM WebSphere Application Server v9 architecture and components. - Experience with configuration, deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of WebSphere environments. - Knowledge of application server monitoring, JVM configuration, and issue resolution. - **CI/CD & Deployment Tools** - Experience with **IBM UrbanCode Deploy (uDeploy)** for application deployments and automation workflows. - Good understanding of **Jenkins** pipelines, job configuration, and CI/CD processes. - Experience integrating automation tools with deployment workflows.
