Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps / Release Engineer to manage end-to-end Salesforce releases, CI/CD automation, environment management, and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Copado, Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Salesforce deployment best practices. Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Responsibilities • Lead release planning, validation, deployment, production cutovers, and post-deployment support across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments. • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce metadata, code, configurations, and Vlocity/OmniStudio components. • Manage Copado user stories, commits, validations, promotions, back-promotions, deployment pipelines, and release governance. • Define and enforce Git branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, tagging, and version-control standards. • Resolve deployment failures, merge conflicts, test-class errors, metadata dependencies, and environment synchronization issues. • Manage sandbox strategy, org refreshes, post-refresh configurations, back-promotions, and environment alignment. • Coordinate code freezes, defect prioritization, release communications, go-live activities, and hotfix deployments. • Build release dashboards, deployment reports, audit documentation, and release runbooks. • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders. • Train development and QA teams on Copado, Git workflows, and deployment troubleshooting. Requirements • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, release management, CI/CD engineering, or Salesforce administration. • Strong hands-on experience with Copado and Salesforce CI/CD pipeline implementation. • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CLI, Salesforce DX, Metadata API, source-format deployments, and deployment validation. • Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Gerrit, Azure Repos, branching strategies, and merge conflict resolution. • Experience managing Salesforce sandboxes, environment strategy, refreshes, deployments, and production releases. • Experience supporting Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, and Vlocity/OmniStudio. • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Technical Skills • Copado, Gearset, Flosum, Salesforce DevOps Center, Opsera. • Jenkins, Kokoro, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeCommit. • Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, Change Sets, Workbench, Salesforce Inspector, and Data Loader. • Vlocity: IDX Workbench, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards. • AWS EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, VPC, Ansible, Docker, and Shell scripting. • SonarQube, PMD, static code analysis, Salesforce Reports, and Dashboards. • Jira, Agile/Scrum, and Kanban. Preferred Qualifications • Salesforce Administrator and Copado certifications. • Gearset, Flosum, or Opsera certifications. • Experience with Jenkins Groovy scripting, Maven, Nexus Repository Manager, and AWS automation. • Experience supporting secure, regulated, or audit-driven Salesforce release environments.
