Job description

Role & Responsibilities: - Facilitate and manage DFMEA activities for automotive product development programs. - Ensure compliance with AIAG-VDA and SAE J1739 DFMEA standards. - Conduct DFMEA reviews and risk assessments with cross-functional teams. - Track DFMEA maturity, actions, and risk metrics throughout program milestones. - Support engineering teams by providing DFMEA guidance and training. - Review design changes and assess impact on DFMEA documents. - Support continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned implementation. - Coordinate with design, manufacturing, quality, and customer teams. - Generate DFMEA reports and support sign-off activities. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Electrical, or related Engineering. - 2-8 years of experience in DFMEA, APQP, Product Development, or Automotive Engineering. - Knowledge of AIAG-VDA FMEA Manual and SAE J1739 standards. - Experience in Failure Analysis, Risk Assessment, and Automotive Product Development. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier experience preferred.
